CSVE Award

VenturingFest 2018

As you may know, VenturingFest 2018 will be held at the Summit Bechtel Reserve from July 1st-6th, 2018 to celebrate Venturing’s 20th birthday! Join us for quick access to the latest activities at the Summit, social events with Venturers from across the nation, an incredible birthday celebration, and the opportunity of a lifetime!

The Council Standards of Venturing Excellence (CSVE) Award is presented by the BSA National Council to councils that complete the requirements during the previous calendar year. It is designed to measure a council's Venturing program through analyzing various aspects of their growth in categories such as membership, trainings, events, and awards. Councils that earn the CSVE Award will be presented a dated, framed certificate at the National Annual Meeting.

 

Qualifications

Fill out the Council Standards of Venturing Excellence Award application, have it signed by the appropriate people, and turn it in by February 15 to Venturing.NationalOfficers@scouting.org or to:

2016 CSVE FORM

 

Note: The 2017 CSVE requirements are identical to the 2016 CSVE requirements.  An updated form will be posted in February.

 

The award level is determined by the following point structure:

  • Bronze: 465–1056 points
  • Silver: 1057–1649 points
  • Gold: 1650+ points

 

All councils are highly encouraged to submit the form even if they do not qualify for an award level.

 

Recipients of 2015 CSVE Award
